2026 FBA Maryland Topgolf Event Draws Record Turnout

On June 25, 2026, the Federal Bar Association Maryland Chapter hosted its signature summer networking event at Topgolf Baltimore, located at 1411 Warner Street in Baltimore's Inner Harbor area.

What began as a casual evening of golf and conversation drew 46 attendees, making it one of the best-attended Topgolf outings in the chapter's recent history. The strong response prompted the chapter to expand this year's event capacity beyond its original plan, a decision that paid off as members and guests filled the venue from the opening tee time through the final round.

Maryland Attorneys Across Practice Areas Connect at Topgolf Baltimore

The event brought together FBA members and non-members, showing the chapter’s opening of its signature gatherings to the broader Maryland legal community. Attorneys from a wide range of practice areas, from commercial litigation to employment law to trusts and estates, mixed easily over two hours of gameplay, trading stories from the courtroom in a setting far removed from any bench or podium. That mix of practice backgrounds has become a hallmark of the chapter's networking events, and this year's Topgolf outing was no exception, with conversations flowing as freely as the friendly competition on the bays.

Beyond the golf itself, attendees enjoyed a full buffet spread that included BBQ boneless wings, jumbo BBQ meatballs, a pimento cheese and charcuterie board, and donut holes for dessert, along with fountain soda, iced tea, and water. Alcoholic beverages were available for purchase for those looking to extend the evening a bit further. The food, much like the golf, gave attendees another easy reason to linger, talk shop, and get to know colleagues they might otherwise only encounter across a courtroom or a conference table.
