Maryland Chapter Earns National Recognition for Excellence
The Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is pleased to announce its receipt of the 2025 Chapter Activity Presidential Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in administration, member outreach, and programming.
This national distinction, presented during the FBA’s Annual Meeting & Convention on September 13, 2025, reflects the Chapter’s innovation, engagement, and impact under the leadership of Immediate Past President Maria Salacuse.
Former FBA Board member and longtime Chapter member Bonnie Greenberg and National Delegate Mark Saudek (pictured above) accepted the award on behalf of the Chapter.
“The Maryland Chapter continues to grow through creativity and connection — from judicial fireside chats and history spotlights to outreach that welcomes new lawyers into the federal community. This recognition honors our shared commitment to advancing the profession together,” said Immediate Past President Maria Salacuse.
The Maryland Chapter continues to foster community, advance professional growth, and strengthen ties between the bar and the bench. The Chapter’s success reflects the energy of its members — and there’s never been a better time to get involved.
Whether you’re a new attorney, seasoned practitioner, or member of the judiciary, the Maryland Chapter offers opportunities to connect, learn, and lead within the federal legal community.
